The Assistant Sports Information Director will be responsible for certain teams and sports, based on background/skills. Manage Division social media accounts and oversee individual team social media accounts. Coordinate with other sports information programs, NCAA personnel, coaches, event staff/contractors and contest managers.
Update athletics web site with contest/team information and stories of interest. Update required NCAA and NEWMAC conference web site. Staff home varsity athletic events to include information management, announcing, statistic recording, pre- and post-game write ups, as well as corresponding social media postings. Assists with planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of a robust sports information program at the United States Coast Guard Academy, that covers 23 NCAA Division III sports and club sports.
